Performance Plastics present a wide range of Thermoplastic Elastomers from the Italian plastics manufacturer API (Applicazioni Plastiche Industriali), including TPU, SBS, PVC, TPO, SEBS, EVA and TPV.

These materials are available in a range of standard and customised formulations and are widely used throughout the moulding industry to give a soft touch or durability to many products such as footwear, sports and leisure goods, gaskets, medical components, toys, tools and eyewear.

Apilon 52 - TPU

Polyester and polyether based compounds which are plasticizer free and exhibit superior low temperature performance, excellent abrasion resistance with resistance to oils and fats. These are available from "super soft" 53 Shore A to 67 Shore D hardness.

Apizero and Apifive - EVA

Including expandable and cross linkable variants. They offer very low weight, excellent dimensional stability at warm temperatures, are low cost and available in arrange of colours. Hardness range from 29 to 65 Shore A.

Megol - SEBS

For both general purpose and special applications, including grades modified for adhesion to polyolefin's, styrene and polyamides. These materials show excellent resistance to ageing and are available from the very soft 10 Shore A up to much harder 57 shore D.

Raplan - SBS

Compounds which have the look and touch of vulcanised rubber. Available in a hardness range from 30 Shore A up to 60 Shore D they are used normally for low cost general purpose applications, but can be offered in FDA and EN90/128 EEC approved grades.

Tivilon - TPV

Innovative compounds based on TPV (Thermoplastic vulcanisers). Hardness shore A 15 - shore D 45 high elasticity at high and low temperatures, excellent compression set, UV resistance, high melt flow and good abrasion resistance. Excellent process ability. Processing technologies: injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding.
